A Service with Smile

Nov 4, 2014

Tuesday

Self-help Group for Cerebral Palsy (SGCP).

Another new day another new life. My students got chance to be in their respective classes and perform the activities that can improve the ability of differently able children. Santosh Dai ko suggestions as being the team co-ordinator of DRTC project 2071 has huge impact on me and my students of ACE.

Today,

I was fortunate enough to involve them with initiation and smile in their face. Today Group 5 got chance to help children in using the computer and learn to type. Group 4 was busy in help to make children eat their food. Group 3 were giving cooking class to their children where as Group 2 as usual giving alphabetical learning methodologies to children.

I was in group 1, there are 8 children all together. All most all have the problem of balancing the posture. Some child cannot move their hands and some cannot walk ( bump suffler) bamee sarna sakne matrai … These children learned to open their clothes and put in on today. They also responded according to their abilities. Every one cries inside inner heart when they respond and show off their feelings ans demand. My eyes were full of tears….  You know there are several ways we can indeed uplift their life.

All the staff members were helping Students as well as the differently able children. Some of the foreigners were out their to cope with the children. Well all the parents of these children cannot afford hence Donner agency are there to cope such situation.

We all need to work it out to improve the ability of the child.

Thank you Readers for your co-operation.

With Regards

Roshan Chaulagain (Guru)

A Day in my lifetime with Differently Able People

Before writing about this particular day Nov 3, 2014. I would thank  hamro pyaro Santosh Dai for having such a strong belief on me for this project to run. A man with vision, commitment and dedication. I would also thank Richa di and the whole team DRTC along with ACE college of Management for assigning us such a wonderful service oriented and life changing activities.

I am Roshan Chaulagain, A Facilitator for this 70 credit hour Project in Area namely Differently Able People10711366_303672939837482_1523241713_n 10744606_303675209837255_419439432_n 10755020_303671476504295_428428130_n.

I had selected an organization named Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy Nepal (SGCP). It is located in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. It was established in the year 1986 A.D.

An organization which is dedicated to educate and rehabilitate the children with Cerebral Palsy ( A disability that is obserbed in an individual due to neurological defects or disorder in cerebral regions). These disorders are due to brain injuries before birth, after birth or few years after the birth of the chlild.

Well, Today is November 3rd, 2014. The 1st Day of the Project organized jointly by Development Resource Training Centre (DRTC)  with ACE college of management. Students who is doing the Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) & Bachelors in Business Administration and Banking Insurance (BBA-BI) and are in 1st semester are involved in this Project.

Out of 180 Students who are in 1st year of ACE college of management . I was lucky enough to get 17 students in my area Differently able People.

All my 17 students were really awesome in their work that i had assigned. I divided my students in 5 groups. they went to respected classes. I was involved in helping the children out there regarding gardening. Our students in 5 different classes were busy in helping, guiding and providing services to children like helping to make them eat their food. Some were busy in teaching the alphabet practically. Some students were drawing and helping children to be more creative. While the others were interacting with the much improved case children having Cerebral Palsy (CP).

With the brave heart i was able to handle all the sittuation. I was thinking how lucky i was so my students as well.

Our students equally involved to help and give service to their fullest. I have a strong believe that our students along with me will work for the betterment of children with cerebral Palsy.

I request my readers to go through the internet and have an idea about Cerebral Palsy.

Thank you so much.

With Regards

Roshan Chaulagain
